Match Report
Orwell Park School Girls 3rd vs  King's Ely
On: Wednesday, 15 May 2019
Venue: Away

After what was a dreadful performance against South Lee, the girls needed to approach this game with more determination and diligence. This they certainly did. Both bowling and batting were more assured (probably helped by the fact that the match was played with an Incrediball) and field setting more effective in limiting the opposition. Communication was also much improved. There is work to be done on quicker reactions in the field and not trying to be ambitious when a run-out presents itself; too many swift balls overshot significantly when a simple pass to the keeper would have been more prudent. Overall, however, this was an encouraging performance and a deserved victory.
